Channel Islands Airspace – ICAO designator: EGJT

On 24th February 2022 Channel Islands Airspace will have it’s own ICAO identifier.

Primarily the identifier exists in order to collectively identify the full volume of airspace associated with the Channel Islands for which the Jersey Meteorological Office (EGJX) issues SIGMET.

(The full volume of airspace is identified in the ENR 2.2 Section 7 of the UK AIP and includes the Channel Islands CTR North & South, TMA North & South, CTA 1 North & South and CTA 2)

Please note: Flight Plans should continue to be addressed to the respective airfields and not the collective airspace address.
